You’ll learn the foundations of healthcare documentation and reimbursement, including:

• Medical Foundations: Anatomy, physiology, disease processes and medical terminology
• Coding & Billing: ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II, claim preparation, reimbursement and denial management

To enroll, you’ll need a high school diploma or GED. No prior healthcare experience is required. All enrollment requirements will be covered in detail during your virtual appointment with an MTI Online Admissions Representative.

Graduates of the Online Medical Billing & Coding Program are prepared to sit for the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification exams. The certification exam cost is included in the tuition.
